Tow Truck Trader was established in 2006 by John Gatward.  The Gatward family has been actively involved in the vehicle rescue and recovery industry for over 70 years and John Gatward currently sits on the council for The Institute of Vehicle Recovery.

Tow Truck Trader have a wealth of experience in all aspects of vehicle recovery and, as John remains physically involved in live recovery operations, we fully understand the day to day challenges faced by our customers.

We pride ourselves on our extensive product knowledge and honest opinion. We have sold breakdown vehicles and tow trucks all over the world.  We have many loyal and very hard working customers and it’s a pleasure to support them in any way we can. Tow Truck Trader is a stakeholder in the ‘Slow Down Move Over’ campaign.

In 2019 we were proud to become a ProLux Retailer. ProLux Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG have specialised in the development, manufacture and trading of vehicle transport, recovery and towing accessories for over 25 years.
